Event Registration
- Entries will open on 01-Mar-2026.
- Pre-Entry: $250 CAD
- Post-Entry (after June 01st): $300 CAD
- On-Site Entry: $350 CAD (Cash Only)
- Transponder Fee – $20 non-refundable
- Request for class changes or refunds will be taken until June 01, 2026 at 4pm PST. Refunds will be processed minus a $75 CAD administration fee.
Classifications:
Pro
- Competed as a Pro in the Hard Enduro World Championship (HEWC) or other Hard Enduro events/series (e.g., USHE).
- Competed as a Pro in National, Provincial, or State events.
- Minimum 14 years of age on the date of the event.
Expert
- Advanced skill level.
- Riders currently licensed as a Pro in National, Provincial, or State series are not eligible if they have previously competed as a Pro in HEWC or other Hard Enduro events/series (e.g., USHE).
- Minimum 14 years of age on the date of the event.
Vet Expert (30+)
- Advanced skill level.
- Minimum 30 years of age on the date of the event.
Senior Expert (40+)
- Advanced skill level.
- Minimum 40 years of age on the date of the event.
Pro Women
- Advanced skill level.
- Will compete on the Expert Course.
- Minimum 14 years of age on the date of the event.
Amateur
- Any racer that does not fit the description of the above classes.
- Riders currently licensed as a Pro or Expert in National, Provincial, or State series are not eligible.
- Minimum 14 years of age on the date of the event.
Vet Amateur (30+)
- Any racer that does not fit the description of the above classes.
- Riders currently licensed as a Pro or Expert in National, Provincial, or State series are not eligible.
- Minimum 30 years of age on the date of the event.
Senior Amateur (40+)
- Any racer that does not fit the description of the above classes.
- Riders currently licensed as a Pro or Expert in National, Provincial, or State series are not eligible.
- Minimum 40 years of age on the date of the event.
Youth Amateur (Under 19 years old)
Any racer that does not fit description of the above classes.
- Riders currently licensed as a ‘Pro’ or ‘Expert’ in National, Provincial, or State series are not eligible.
- Minimum 14 years of age to maximum of 18 years old on date of event.
General Information
Event Rules
- Any rider found to have cut the course will be docked positions or disqualified at the discretion of the Race Director/Referee.
- Riders exiting the course for any reason must not gain a position upon re-entry. The Race Director/Referee may dock positions or disqualify the participant.
- Outside assistance is strictly prohibited. Any participant accepting assistance from anyone other than track crew or fellow competitors may be disqualified at the discretion of the Race Director/Referee.
- Overall results will be posted in the event paddock within 60 minutes of race completion.
- Protests must be made in the event paddock within 30 minutes of results being posted.
- 1st gear only in the pits. Helmets are mandatory while in motion.
- The same motorcycle must be used throughout the entire competition.
- Number plate decals will be provided for each participant.
- Transponders must be installed.
Course Details
- Extreme difficulty requiring a high degree of competence.
- The course will be marked with arrows and tape:
- Turn arrows will be placed on the outer portion of the turn indicating the required direction of travel.
- Single arrows indicate a slight direction change.
- Double arrows indicate a direction change requiring increased attention.
- Wrong-way signs (W) will be posted as required.
- On special tape-marked sections, riders must stay within the designated boundaries.
- Leaving the track may result in a time penalty of 30 seconds up to disqualification.
- Checkpoints will be located throughout the course. Riders must come to a complete STOP to have their number read and recorded. Do not leave until released by the check worker.
- Absolutely no passing in checkpoint areas.
- A designated refuel area will be provided in the Main Event paddock. Fuel will be provided to competitors with the engine OFF. Environmental mats are required during refueling.
Bike Requirements
- Motorcycles must be technically sound and in good working order.
- There are no motorcycle or equipment restrictions. Spark arrestors are mandatory — maximum 96 dB.
- Any motorcycle found to be in disrepair must be corrected or may result in disqualification at the discretion of the Race Director/Referee.
- The same motorcycle must be used throughout the entire competition.
- Number plate decals will be provided and must be prominently displayed on the front number plate and both side plates.
Protective Equipment
The following are the minimum requirements to compete. Additional safety gear is strongly recommended. Proper selection of helmet and safety apparel is the rider’s sole responsibility.
- Helmets must be worn at all times when operating a motorcycle during the event and in the pits. Helmets must meet or exceed DOT FMVSS 218 certification.
- Eye protection in the form of shatterproof goggles or safety glasses is mandatory.
- Full-length motocross or off-road riding pants are mandatory. Knee guards are highly recommended.
- Long-sleeved shirt, jersey, and/or jacket. Chest protectors and elbow guards are recommended.
- Protective boots that are at least 8 inches high for adults.

Camping
There is limited camping availability offered by the SDBA for the Squamish Hard Enduro event. The cost is $90 for all three nights. (3 Night Minimum)
